Cumbernauld connects straight into Glasgow Queen Street by rail, so the studio is an easy trip. Glasgow Tattoo College teaches in small groups on real skin, under working artists, in a licensed city-centre studio.
We welcome students from across Cumbernauld and nearby towns, from Kilsyth and Croy to Condorrat and Moodiesburn. You can take the full 10-day course or a short fine line course and travel in each day.

Travelling from Cumbernauld to Glasgow
By train or Subway
around 25 minutes by train from Cumbernauld into Glasgow Queen Street. Glasgow Queen Street is one of Glasgow's best-connected stations and the studio is a few minutes away.
By road
about 25-40 minutes by road via the A80 and M80 depending on traffic. In practice the train or Subway is usually faster than driving into Glasgow.
By bus or coach
regular bus routes connect Cumbernauld with Glasgow city centre, dropping you close to the studio.
Cumbernauld is close enough for a daily commute; most local students travel in on the train rather than staying over.
