Bearsden has a direct train into Glasgow Queen Street, so the studio is easy to reach. Glasgow Tattoo College trains new artists in small, supervised groups with working tutors.
We welcome students from across East Dunbartonshire, from Milngavie and Westerton to Anniesland and Bishopbriggs. Both the 10-day beginner course and the shorter fine line courses are within easy daily reach.

Travelling from Bearsden to Glasgow
By train or Subway
around 15 minutes by train from Bearsden into Glasgow Queen Street. Glasgow Queen Street is one of Glasgow's best-connected stations and the studio is a few minutes away.
By road
about 20-30 minutes by road via the A81 or A739 depending on traffic. In practice the train or Subway is usually faster than driving into Glasgow.
By bus or coach
regular bus routes connect Bearsden with Glasgow city centre, dropping you close to the studio.
Bearsden is close enough for a daily commute; most students travel in by train each morning rather than staying over.
